The Diogenes
A Cure for Procrastination.
Italy, from €280 p/w

For the apparently incurable procrastinator, we are pleased to offer the austere and inhospitable accommodation known as The Diogenes, a small and minimally appointed dwelling provided with occasional lighting and running water. Remotely located in the Cilento of South Italy, this writer's retreat is offered to suitable individuals on very favourable terms.

James Wilkinson

Writer James WilkinsonJames stayed at the Gardens of Minerva writer's apartment on the Amalfi Coast in early 2012, to finish his first novel, The Shadow, about a seafaring hero always on the lookout for something to eat. Remarkably enough he has in fact finished it, and now all that remains is finding a publisher. The book  combines adventure on the high seas with some of the worlds most exquisite culinary delights. James' Comment >
